*hysterical giggling continues as Indigo and Abby cling to
each other, snorting and pointing at Gwen and Angela trying to get off the
floor. Gwen crawls over to the sofa on slippery hands and knees.*
Gwen: Over here Angela. We’ll use the couch.
*Angela follows, mostly on hands and knees, but sometimes
slithering. The ladies pull themselves onto the sofa. Gwen slaps at a feather
that floats in front of her face.*
Angela: I’m glad
you two find this funny. I certainly don’t. Our PIP headquarters is haunted!
Indigo: Well of course it is! Angela, this place
is stock full of all the beings you and Gwen have created. Take Franny, for
instance. She’s a ghost. And she’s not scary and she doesn’t fling ectoplasm at
anybody.
Abby: Besides, *rubs the slimy substance between
her fingers and studies it closely* this stuff looks kind of familiar. I have a
sneaking suspicion…
